School and Library Visits

NaShantá Fletcher wants to share her love of art and storytelling with students of all ages. She is available for school and library visits from pre-K through high school.

For the younger students, the presentations includes, a read-aloud storytime, a talk about what an illustrator does, abridged explanation of how she creates art for books, timelapse footage of creating a piece of art, Q&A, and music video (for the books Happy and Healthy or Me+You).

For older students, the presentation includes a talk about NaShantá's career journey, explanation of how she creates art for books, timelapse footage of creating a piece of art and breakdown of what tools are being used, and Q&A.

Rates

In-person Visits

  • 20-30min in-person Presentation $200
  • 45-60min in-person Presentation $300
  • Full day in-person (3 presentations) $550​
​Additional travel expenses for visits beyond 30 mile radius of Schaumburg, IL

Virtual Visits

  • 20-30min virtual Presentation $100
  • 45-60min virtual Presentation $150
  • Full day virtual (3 presentations) $275
​A limited number of Free virtual visits are available each year for schools that may not have the budget for speaker visits.​​
